One owner family car. Rebuilt, and riding great
By Buick Century in Canada | on 12/11/2023 8:31:26 PM
It is 2023, mom got this car in 1997. She read ended someone in 2011 and it was a write off. It sat on her driveway for 2 years, After dad passed away, and mom had to move to an assisted living, we spent $6k having it fixed in 2014. Forest Lawn Autobody in Calgary did a GREAT job. Mom loved getting rides in her car, sad to say I lost her during Covid. I am still driving it today, It handles and runs great. The rockers have some rust. I am considering a 14K complete pro paint job, - John Engel… - 5.0
Incredibly reliable car...even 20 years later...
By Ashley | on 9/26/2023 6:15:11 AM
I bought this car used from an elderly woman who didn't need it anymore. She was the second owner and I would be the third. It was in great condition but still needed some repairs so I paid a measly 2000 dollars for it about 10 years ago and it had about 80k miles on it. I got it assessed by a mechanic and had all spotted issues repaired over the next few months, though it was nothing major or expensive. Fast forward to today, this car is now our "backup" vehicle but still runs very well. Over the last decade of ownership, it's gone on many long distance road trips with me and it was also my daily driver for most of that time. It's needed some engine work here and there but considering the car is now 20 years old, it's quite impressive that it still runs and runs WELL. It gets up to speed nicely on the highway, the engine sounds good, and besides the ride feeling a little less "smooth" than it used to it's still going strong. Buick doesn't make them like they used to anymore, which is a shame. My 2003 Buick has been a well-loved companion for a long while, and I expect it still has life in it yet.… - 5.0
